Our Favorite Places to Eat

When you’re hungry, the nearby Lahaina and Kaanapali areas have some of the finest restaurants you could want. There are grocery stores and food trucks nearby too.

In Kaanapali:

Duke's Beach House

Duke’s is an all-around food choice winner for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After your meal be sure to order a slice of Hula Pie. Depending on when you are visiting Maui, you could score big in the area of Entertainment too. Not only does Duke's have regular dinner entertainment featuring talented local musicians, but occasionally they book the famous Hawaiian musicians of yesterday such as Henry Kapono, of C&K fame (that's Cecelio and Kapono for you newbees), Henry's been around since the late 70's and can still play all the old songs and a mean rock guitar too.

In Lahaina: (You may need reservations at many of these restaurants as they are so popular!)

Honu

Honu specializes in seafood and pizza - our favorite dishes are the Ahi bruschetta and the Ahi Pizza.

Frida’s

Frida’s has all kinds of onoliciius Mexican food.

Star Noodle

Star Noodle has many supreme Asian noodle dishes and Malayalam for dessert!

Fleetwood’s on Front Street

This rooftop terrace has drinks, pupu's and entertainment nightly. British Drummer, Mick Fleetwood, of Fleetwood Mac, is the owner and occasionally performs with a band of local rockers. Each evening at sunset a Scottish Piper and a Hawaiian chanter perform their specialties as the sun goes down.

Kapalua/Napili/Kahana areas:

Sansei

If you like Sushi, you’ll be in very capable hands at the Sansei Restaurant.

Miso Fat

Another popular sushi restaurant.

Sea House Restaurant

Voted as having the “Best Pupus on Maui,” it also has the best view you’ll ever see of Napili Bay. Great for happy hour.

Other notable noshes nearby:

Honoapiilani Food Truck Park, The Fish Market, Honokowai Okazuya , L & L Barbecue and Maui Brewing Co.

Grocery stores:

Safeway; Times Supermarket and the Napili Market are nearby.
